January is National Mentoring Month, a big deal for the folks over at MENTOR. An even bigger deal with them releasing the 5th edition of the Elements of Effective Practice for Mentoring (EEPM5). This work is grounded in 30+ years of research about program effectiveness, and has been updated to reflect new trends. It is a staple for anyone, anywhere who is involved in a mentoring program. In this video, we hear from experts in the field, enhancing remote interviews with motion graphic treatments and selected stock footage and broll.

Animator / Illustrator / Designer
The style frames reflect the updated illustrative style of the MENTOR brand and the design of the previous and current Elements of Effective Practices for Mentoring. Keeping things geometric allows for the graphics to easily mesh with the live action pieces without feeling out of place in the piece. Throughout the discovery process, I wanted to focus on how MENTOR provides the building blocks to create something beautiful, each item and animated piece akin to the toy blocks you'd build a city out of when you were younger.
