When designing my logo and overall aesthetic for my website my goal was to pay homage to the things that inspired me to pursue a path in animation.
The colors present throughout my website harken back 90's anime, Sailor Moon in particular.
My logo represents forward momentum built upon what shaped me growing up. Colors from the palette mentioned above make up the shape of the "j". The marks above the "j" and the "i's" have been changed to a square, triangle, and circle represent the buttons from video game consoles.
DND, adventure games, and all things fantasy were safe spaces to me growing up (and to this day). In the gamejoe.exe window from my demo reel, you get a little window into one of the current DND campaigns I am in with friends; crushed into a pixel aesthetic. Notice the paths?
Finally we see all of those elements pulled together in my Demo Reel (and my site at large). This is me and it's lovely to meet you.
